It was an exciting week! We booked our first reservation! Woo-hoo! We are officially open for reservations. You can find our home listed on VRBO, Airbnb, and Rent Branson. Summer reservations are available starting in July. We recently partnered with Rent Branson, and this past weekend we got a chance to meet our property manager. We are thrilled about the progress we are making on the Farmhouse! When we first purchased this land, our dream was to build a little neighborhood of farmhouse vacation rental homes. We knew it wouldn’t happen right away and that it would take time but seeing this first house take off is very exciting! Over the summer we started working with Artisan Home Builders. The building process started off slow and our time was spent finalizing logistics, getting power to our land, picking out the home site and receiving approval from the county. We love to get away and our boys love it, but traveling with kids can be hard. We have gotten used to packing up quick and taking our kids on the road, so I thought I would share a little bit about how we make it work. I’m usually in charge of packing because if my husband was, we probably wouldn’t even have a suitcase with us! Anyway, now that we have three kids, the car space is tight so I’ve learned it’s easiest to pack light. Most of the time we have access to a washer and dryer so that is extremely helpful. We are an adventurous family  and our boys are full of energy. This has made the Table Rock and Branson area a perfect vacation spot for us. One of our favorite activities to do with our kids while we are in the area, is Dogwood Canyon. It’s very affordable for a day of family fun. Last spring we took the kids to Dogwood Canyon and we rented bikes. The older boys were five and three years old and got bikes and helmets perfect for their size.
